Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive to Tralee

Your guide will brief the group on your holiday and the next days hiking options. Enjoy an evening at your leisure with great dining options to suit all tastes.
Day 2 - Tralee to Camp
Leaving Tralee, you hike along the foothills of the legendary Slieve Mish Mountains. As you hike west, glorious views of Tralee Bay & North Kerry unfold in front of you. This route is also the Kerry Camino hiking trail which offers a sense of pilgrimage as you hike. Overnight in the lovely village of Camp.

Total Distances: Route 1: 19km | Route 2: 13km | Route 3: 4.5 km
Day 3 - Camp to Annascaul
Continuing west, you hike across the centre of the Dingle Peninsula to reach the stunning Inch Beach. With time to enjoy a swim (or a pint of Guinness perhaps!!) you then continue your hike to reach the village of Annascaul – famous for its links with the South Pole expeditions. Overnight here.

Total Distances: Route 1: 16.7km | Route 2: 13.7km | Route 3: 5.7km
Day 4 - Annascaul to Dingle
Hiking from Annascaul, you pass an impressive 15th century castle before going inland to pass an early Christian settlement. Today’s hike takes you through farmland and ancient trading routes as you continue to follow the Kerry Camino in the footsteps of our ancestors. Your hike finishes in the town of Dingle where you enjoy your next 2 overnights.

Total Distances: Route 1: 22km | Route 2: 16.6km | Route 3: 10.5km
Day 5 - Slea Head
A short transfer from Dingle takes you to one of the most stunning hikes imaginable. Today you hike around the western tip of the Dingle Peninsula – Slea Head & you will be rewarded by superb views all the way. This is also one of the richest regions in Ireland with archaeological remains dating back to the 6th century. Return to Dingle for your 2nd overnight.

Total Distances: Route 1: 18km | Route 2: 13.8km | Route 3: 10km | Route 4: 4.5km

Your final hike takes you to the magnificent Fermoyle Beach as you follow to the Maherees Peninsula. This is a glorious place with a microscopic climate that gives it more sunny days than most of the surrounding landscape. At the end of your hike, you transfer by minivan back to Tralee for your final overnight.

Total Distances: Route 1: 21.3km | Route 2: 13.5km | Route 3: 8km
