Kerry Way Holiday Winner
Our customers come from all over the world, and bringing people to Ireland and taking them on foot ‘off the beaten track’ is what we really enjoy doing.
So it was great news when we got to welcome two ladies who were the Kerry Way Holiday Winner from Germany on a walking tour of the Kerry Way recently, but even better news from them is that they won the holiday in conjunction with Skellig Reisen when they attended the CMT (Caravan, Motor & Tourism Fair) in Stuttgart earlier this year.
Travel Fair
The nine-day travel fair attracts many thousands of German holidaymakers looking for ideas and suggestions for their next holiday and for Simone and her friend Julianne, Ireland was their destination of choice.
On hearing that she won Simone said,”I could not believe it when I won a hiking trip to one of my favourite countries in the world.I have been to Ireland a couple of times before but never went hiking there yet. But this will change after the experience I had this summer.
My friend and I have been somewhat scared that we would get lost but we received very informative and helpful instructions and detailed directions of one of the companies’ nice and good-looking employees.
It was amazing to hike through Ireland’s picturesque nature and to enjoy the gorgeous views along the trail.
Die B&B´s waren super gemütlich, tolles Essen und nur hilfsbereite, lustige Leute um uns rum!
The B&B’s we stayed in have all been very charming and comfy, we enjoyed fantastic meals and only met helpful and fun people during our hike.
We finished half of the Kerry Way this year and we will be back next year to finish the other half!!!
